Cheer off is October 28th.  Pre-order sales of the t-shirts begins this week. Last year at the arena t-shirts sold out by 11am.  We strongly recommend that is you want a shirt you pre order.  The t-shirt design will be posted at the concession stand window.  Team moms will have the order forms.

Individual and Team photos will be Saturday 9/15th.  Photo times are the following:  8:00am Tiny Mite Football, 8:30am Tiny Mite Cheer, 9:00am Mitey Mite Football, 9:45am Mitey Mite Cheer, 10:45am Jr. Pee Wee Football, 11:30am Jr. Pee Wee Cheer, 12:45pm Pee Wee Football, 1:30pm Pee Wee Cheer, 2:30pm Jr. Midget Football,  3:15pm Jr. Midget Cheer, 4:00pm Midget Football, 4:45pm Midget Cheer.

**Cheer coaches if you wish to do a team picture other  than a traditional standing/kneeling pose you will need to practice during practice time.  No practice before pictures!  

 T-Shirt Orders for Cheer-Off  has been extended to Saturday September 8th.

Tiny Mite Football:  120 % is what the future Peace River Champions! gave at Saturdays Game against a tough Ft. Myers team.  Both squads came with hard hitting tackles and brute force blocking.  Touchdowns were scored by Trendon Dunn and Deven Thompkins.  Great defense on the part of Coleton Trunck and Devin Pegg.  Mason McCombs and Nico Lynch took positions at Center and they both did real well.  And finally Timothy Blackburn made a touchdown saving tackle showing his team what 120% means.  This coming Saturday another tough opponent with the Wildcats in the forecast.  It will be a thunderous game.  

Pee Wee Football:  The Pee Wee Knights had a tough loss Saturday to an awesome Firecat team.  They had more speed than we could handle and gave us quite a whipping.  We will recover this week and get ready for a tough Riverdale team.

 

Pee Wee Cheer:   Great job girls cheering on our boys.  Your cheers were loud and proud.  Keep it up.  Go Knights!

 

Jr. Midget Football: Firecats 38—Jr. Midget Knights 8  Touch down by Damian Rey (1), Extra Point kick by Tim Moyer.  We played good the first half.  The second half?  This is Division 1 Football, so players you need to step it up!   Go Knights Beat the Wildcats.

Jr. Midget Cheer:  Great job cheering on the boys.  It was a really tough games.  Your half time cheer looked super.  I am so proud of each of you.  Keep on practicing.  Cheer-off will be here before you know it.  Let’s go to Riverdale and take our Knights Spirit with us.  GO KNIGHTS!

Midget Football:  (KNIGHTS 0 - FT. MYERS 33)

THE SCORE PRETTY MUCH SAYS THE OUTCOME BUT DOESN'T TELL THE WHOLE STORY. WITHOUT 4 IMPACT PLAYERS FOR THE TEAM, OUR MIDGETS WENT IN SHORT HANDED AND PLAYED A GREAT BALLGAME UP UNTIL THE END OF THE 3RD QUARTER. I WOULD BE LYING IF I HAD SAID I WAS PROUD OF THE OUTCOME, BECAUSE I WASN'T. THIS TEAM HAS THE CHEMISTRY OF BECOMING ONE OF THE BEST TEAMS AT NORTH. GRANTED OUR RECORD WILL SAY OTHERWISE, IF THAT'S THE ONLY PLACE ONE LOOKS. WHEN WE FINALLY COME TOGETHER AS A TEAM, I PERSONALLY FEEL WE WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE. UNTIL THEN I WILL CONTINUE TO FIT THE PEACES TOGETHER AND STRIVE TO DEVELOPMENT THE GREAT TEAM THAT WE ARE. WE HAVE ANOTHER TEST AGAINST A VERY GOOD RIVERDALE TEAM.
