Bad weather has been a problem for practices lately.  Remember if there is bad weather NOT to drop your children off and leave.  THIS IS NOT A BABY SITTING SERVICE.  Respect your coaches by being available when there is bad weather.  Last week coaches had to stay 1 1/2 hours after practice was cancelled due parents not being at the field and those days practice was cancelled at 6:30 the time the kids are due to report to the coach. __________________________________________________________________

CHEER OFF COUNT DOWN

16 practice days left!

TINY MITE:  Continuing with success on the field the Tiny Mites AKA DYNOMITES!!,  Had a great game against the Bandits from Pt.Charlotte.  Congratulations goes to Izaya Benitez on a great 20 yard run for his first touchdown of the season and definitely not his last.  Deven Thompkins continues on with his touchdown streak scoring multiple times in every game so far this season keep up the good work.  Brandon Pelletier had two QB sacks from the guard position as well as Trendon Dunn.  Both also had 10+yard runs during the game.  Much improvement on the part of Jake Peters and Justin Dilg as they both did excellent in the game.  The 120% award goes to Clay Best,  with a hurt hand he could have sat out , but decided he would play anyway Way to go!

MITEY MITE CHEER:  The mighty mite girls have been working really hard on their cheer off routine and it is coming along nicely.  This might explain why everyone was a little sluggish on Saturday.  This weekend it is Parents Day and I know that the Mighty Mite girls will be ready, loud and have tons of S – P – I – R – I – T

PEE WEE’S:  The NFM Pee Wee's played a great game Saturday vs Pt. Charlotte and came away with a 26-6 win.  Strong offense scored twice and our slot offense scored twice.  All offenses blocked great and the defense swarmed thru out the whole game despite the almost unbearable heat.  We need another huge effort this week to beat a tough Sarasota team but, we will be ready!

JR MIDGETS:  Knights 28 - Pt Charlotte 0.  Touchdowns scored by Gabriel McNulty(2), one on a 65 yard run.  The other on a 6- yard pass from Tim Moyer.  Tim Moyer(1) 65 yard run and Lamar Dumas 8 yard run.  All extra points by Tim Moyer.  Our team looked great said Coach Bill.  Now the Defense:  We got our first shut out said Coach Rick.  Great play by Damian Rye, Tyler Porter, Chris Long, Jake Corkhill, and everybody else.  Great Job!  We got our first win Saturday.  Let's make it number two.  GO KNIGHTS BEAT SARASOTA!!

MIDGET CHEER:   No amount of rain can damper our Knights Spirit. You ladies did a great job cheering on our boys before the storm decided to hit. Great Push-ups!! Thanks to our captains this week, Jenna and Mandi. Keep up the good work at practice, ya'll are doin' great!!!

MIDGETS: Midgets (North 20 - Pt. Charlotte 6) For 3 1/2 quarters the midgets were looking for there first shutout for the season but a much improved Bandit team punched one in late in the game. Great game from the team, we still have some minor areas to address but everything is starting to come together. Offensively Brian Sprinter, Christian Pelletier, Daniel Knight, Chase Wildman and Jacob Ciganek opened holes for our backs to blast thru. Our defense lead by Darrion Barnhill, LaKeith Williams, Joey Hamor, Luis Pagan and Brian Boehm kept Pt. Charlotte in check all night. The Knights quest is unfinished, we now must face a very tough and hard hitting Sarasota team. The coaches are proud of the midgets progress, we are going to prepare the team for our next opponent and take it one game at a time. Good luck team and beat the Sun Devils
