KNIGHT NEWS

Last week we had our first official game of the season. So far we look good. This week we have a bye week which means we don’t have a game. Remember that next week is the first week of three day practices,(Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). The time and place will still be the same only the days will be different.



Coaches Comments

Tiny Mite football - Congratulations Tiny Mites on a great game. We'll work on perfecting our handoffs and blocking in practice. Great job to Jared Uppman for scoring his second Touchdown of the season keep up the good work!!

Mitey Mite Red football: Knights 13 Naples 12 - This one turned out to be a nail biter, but the “Mighty Knights” prevailed! The Defense was the difference in this one. The “Mighty Knights” defense didn’t give up a first down in the first half, and shut the door on Naples in the fourth quarter when the game was on the line. The offense line performed much better than expected, the O-line dug there heels in when we needed it most. This was the team’s first head to head competition this year and we are very proud we came away with a victory despite four turnovers and 60 yards in penalties. We have two weeks to polish up and get ready roll over the Naples Titans

Jr. Pee Wee football - Brett “Biskit” Billman scored on runs of 15, 42 and 2 yards in our 20-6 win over the Canes. The pass by QB Jonah Markovits to Nick Guffey was completed for the extra point and Morgan Foreman’s run for the extra point was good. The white offense lead by Dustin Dobbins showed lots of promise for the rest of the season. The defense held the Canes to only six points with great showings by Dillon Dobbins, Seth Lewis and Caleb Stewart. Fumble recoveries by Mason Mills and Tyler Upmann dominated the Canes offense. The entire JPW team came out to play and it showed. We wish Dillon a speedy recovery.

Jr. Pee Wee cheer - We cheered an awesome game on Saturday! Great job girls! I want you to remember that "Many smiles begin because of another smile" KEEP
SMILING! Our next game is at the Naples Titans field on Sept. 9th, Lets practice hard and show them that we may be small but we are LOUD AND PROUD!! Go Jr. Pee Wee's!!

Pee Wee cheer - Ya’ll did great at the game on Saturday. We are hoping to have a good year and so far so good. Lets show them Titans how you show SPIRIT. Love all your coaches

Jr. Midget cheer - Another great job cheering our boys on to victory last week at the game and this week at practice. Continue to show the dedication you showed this week ( in the rain ), and we’ll go all the way. With alot more hard work We WILL reach our Goal.... NATIONALS.

 
Midget cheer - You guys Looked FANTASTIC cheering our Football players on to their victory over the Naples Canes.They done a Great job cheering with spirit and pep, showing they are proud to be a NORTH KNIGHT CHEERLEADER. We are on a roll so keep it up! GO KNIGHTS!! August was a hard working month, but paid off at our game. No game Saturday(BYE )Practice changes to TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, & THURSDAYS. Now lets start working hard for competition!
