Cheer off is October 28th.  Pre-order sales of the t-shirts begins this week. Last year at the arena t-shirts sold out by 11am.  We strongly recommend that is you want a shirt you pre order.  The t-shirt design will be posted at the concession stand window.  Team moms will have the order forms.

Parents please show respect for your coaches by picking your players up on time.  Tiny Mites end practice at 8:00pm.  All other teams at 8:30pm.  If there is lightening in the area please stay at the field.  Practice may be cancelled.  We have had coaches waiting for parents up to 1 hour after practice has been cancelled.  If there is lighting in the area parents are to come to the locker rooms to pick up your child.   We will not send them to the parking lot for safety reasons.

Tiny Mites had a great day at Jamboree, week before last, showing great poise offensively and defensively with touchdowns by Deven Thompkins and Ben Pogue    We had a bit tougher game versus the Naples Hurricanes as they obliged us with a much later than scheduled game despite a no show by the Cypress team. Great blocking on the offensive side from Dolton Ellard and Blake Gribbons from the Black Squad, and the White defense had a good performance despite bigger players from the Canes offense. North's Tiny Mites will work on a few key parts of the game and improve on both sides of the ball. We look forward to going to the Ft. Myers game ready to play football .

Mighty Mite Cheer . . Way to go girls.  It was hot and it was sunny but you all were cheering really great this Saturday against the Hornets.  Your half time routine really showed that the NFM Knights Mighty Mites are a quality cheer squad.  We have a lot of work ahead of us to get ready for Cheer Off but I know that you are up for the challenge.  Remember, our choices determine our success.

PEE WEE:  The Pee Wee Knights came to play Saturday and completely dominated a good Cypress team 21—6.  Thru hard running by the backs behind great blocking by the line 3 different offensive units scored TD’s.  A stifling defense shut down and shut out the Cypress Offense, their only score coming off a turnover.  In this game we kicked an extra point, recovered 2 on-sides kicks and had 2 interceptions.  All coaches are very proud of the outstanding efforts each player gave.  We have a real tough game this week at Ft. Myers, but we will be ready!!

 JR MIDGET: Cypress Jr Midget 6 Knights 0. Wow what a ball game.  All of us coaches are very proud of how our kids played.  We lost on the score board but we beat them up on the field.  The Cypress coach told me he had never been beat up like this before in all his years of Pop Warner.  Great job by the #1 offence.   Now the defense.  What can we say Coach Rick and Coach Charlie but the defense beat them up really good.  Great job by all!  We play Ft. Myers Saturday.  Lets get in the win column.  Go Knights beat Firecats!

 MIDGETS:  Knights 12—Cypress 27.  The Midgets played a great game Saturday night against adverse conditions.  Performances from Daniel Knight, Jacob Ciganek, Darrion Barnhill, and great running by LaKeith Williams kept Cypress at bay all night long.  Lets put this game behind us and look forward to a great season.  Go Knights beat the Firecats!

 

MIDGET CHEER:  WOW!!  Ya’ll did a great job on Saturday.  Loud, tight, and very spirited.  Pep Rally was another one that impressed me.  We had to pull together with girls missing and ya’ll still pulled it off and stuck everything.  Very Nice Job!!  Keep up the good work.
