CHEER OFF COUNT DOWN  11 practice days left!  

Thursday is Homecoming.  Cheerleaders will be in full uniform, football players should bring a game jersey to wear for homecoming proceedings.  We will start at 7:45 with the tiny mites on the 50-yard line.  Parents need to be seated in the bleachers.  There will be a roped off area on the field for you to come down and take pictures.  Please exit this area as your child’s team leaves so there will be room for the next group.  There will be an additional area at the north end of the field for personal photos.  We would like all the prince and princesses to stay until the king and queen are announced so we can get a picture of the whole court.

     FYI…The prince and princesses are chosen by vote among their own teammates.

Photo retake day is Wednesday, October 10th from 6:00p-6:45p.  If you have questions on your order please call Charlie at 731-5454 C. Smith Photography.

JR MIDGETS:  Charlotte 44 Jr. Midget Knights 7 - Touch down by Lamar.  Extra point by Gabriel.  Oh Where Oh Where Did the Jr. Midgets Go.  Oh Where Oh Where ca they be?  Go Knights beat Cape Jr.

MIDGETS: (North 27, Charlotte 8); Anyone who remained to watch the midget football team take on the Warriors got a real treat. With some powerful running from LaKeith Williams and Joey Hamor, combined with the aerial attack lead by Nathan McIntosh, Micheal Dumas and Terrell Neal the midgets moved the ball all night on the Warriors defense. But none of that would have been possible without the front five of Jacob Krabill, Darrion Barnhill, Christian Pelletier, Jonathan Numa, and Brian Springer opening the holes thru that tuff Charlotte defense. And congrats to the defensive unit for keeping Charlotte out of the end zone, Charlotte's only score came off a bobbled hand off which like all great teams Charlotte took advantage of it and ran it in for their only scored. The linebacker combo leading with Chase Wildman and Luis Pagan at the end, kept Charlotte from popping the big play. With the combo of Brain Boehm and Terry Bogart on the defensive line help secure the middle. The Knights quest is still unfinished, our last home game will be against a very good Cape Junior team with a very explosive running attack. The Midget Knights will prepare hard all week to do battle and will play hard to be victorious. Good luck brave knights
