Last week we played Sarasota and we had a lot of good games. Congrats to the Pee wee, Jr. Midgets, and the Midgets in making it into the playoffs. This week we will be going to Clewiston. The Jr. Midgets and Midgets will not be going . None of the cheerleaders will be going either. This Sunday is Cheer off your coach will be telling you what time you need to be at FGCU.
Just a few reminders for everyone. Camcorders will not be allowed in the arena. Flash photography is not allowed during Cheer Off. There will be no outside food or drink allowed. Please do not bring your RV, as there is limited parking and only one allowed per league. Our AM tickets (tiny mite, mitey mite and pee wee squads) are assigned seating. We could not get a big enough block for everyone to sit together. If you would like to adjust your seats once you’re there and the other ticket holder does not have a problem that’s fine. Our afternoon tickets are block seating. We have all of section Q except row 1, and we have

Every seat in our section has been sold so please scoot over if you notice people are having problems fitting in. Our girls have been working very hard and this is their time to shine. Go out there and give it all you’ve got! We’re all really proud of you.

The Midgets and Pee Wees will be playing at home on Oct. 31st and Nov. 1st Please come out and show your support for them in the playoffs for Peace River Championships. The Jr. Midgets will be playing in Pt. Charlotte on Oct 31st. Please come show your support if you can.
We still need volunteers for Nov. 11th for the playoff games we are hosting at our field. PLEASE see Mike Lloyd or the concession stand to sign up.

Football

Midgets : Congratulations to the Midget team for making the Peace River playoffs. Now we must focus our attention on the Suncoast team for the first round and continue our quest to the Peace River Championship. I would like to thank my entire staff for another awesome season together (Chris McFarland, Jody Howard, Ed Cavazos & Darren Spires), YOU GUYS ARE THE BEST. Also I can’t say enough about our team mom, Kim Ralston. Thank you Kim for keeping me straight this year and putting up with me, you’re the best. And a big thank you to all the parents who stepped up this year with the team and made this year special for the kids and the coaching staff. Finally, thank you midget cheerleaders, you guys did an awesome job cheering our team on to success and all of you are a large part of it.

Jr. Midget: Knights 22 Sarasota 15 :Touchdowns by Zane Lapaugh(2) Josh Corkhill(1) Extra points kicked by Zane (2). Never stop fighting till the last second ticks off. It looked like it was the end of the season till Josh Corkhill stepped in front of a slant pass and raced 98 yards for the winning touchdown. Parents be proud! Great running by Zane. It was a total team effort said Coach Bill. Offensive line blocked great. Now the Defense. What can we say said Coach Rick the defense stepped up when it had to. GREAT job by all. Coach Charlie said he is very proud of all of you. Coach Phil says Get r Done! There's no place like home says Coach Bill, Rick, Charlie, and Phil. GREAT JOB.
Pee Wee : ANOTHER BIG WIN FOR THE PEEWEES SAT BEATING A TOUGH SARASOTA TEAM 23-6.THIS LOCKS UP A PLAYOFF SPOT AT EITHER THE 2ND OR 3RD SEED. THIS MEANS WE WILL BE PLAYING AT HOME ON NOV. 1. CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE PEEWEE PLAYERS. ALL OF YOUR HARD WORK SINCE AUG 1 HAS PAID OFF AND ALL COACHES ARE VERY PROUD OF EACH OF YOU. NOW THAT WE HAVE MET ONE GOAL IT IS TIME TO MOVE ON TO OUR NEXT GOAL: CONFERENCE CHAMPS AND BEYOND!!!! GREAT JOB BY ALL PLAYERS AND COACHES.

Midget : CHEER-OFF IS SUNDAY GIRLS!! Let’s go out there and show all how Great North Fort Myers Knights are. Good Luck to all our cheerleaders! Girls you are looking really good and can bring home a trophy but we still need to work real hard this week, Remember game Tuesday night, guys have championship game. Birthday wishes go out to Ashley Lingard the 29th what better gift than to WIN. GO FIGHT WIN.
Jr Midget : You girls got the boys fired up enough so they could win the game against Sarasota and make it to the play offs GREAT JOB!!!! Thank you to our captains Alyssa, Desiree, and Missa. Cheer off is Sunday. We will be doing our hair at about 4:30 pm at Julies house we will give you directions on Saturday. Good Luck Girls on Sunday and show us Coaches how good you really are.
